SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INFO AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

**April 30, 2026 Update:

UHEF is glad to announce that the 2026-27 school year Scholarship Application is now closed and Decisions are being made at this time.  And as such, all access to the applications is temporarily unavailable and closed.  Make sure to check your emails that you provided on the submissions, on or after the end of June. 

Additionally, an announcement will be made here for recipients of the respective rewards and scholarships.

Congrats to the scholarship recipients for the 2025-2026 school year!  See below for our recipients for the previous year.

UHEF Scholarship Recipients for the 2025/26 school year:

Jasmine Xiong from Milwaukee, WI. She received the Zong Cheng Hawj Scholarship for pursuing a major in Psychology.

Allen Vang from Stockton, CA. He received the Zong Cheng Hawj Scholarship for pursuing a major in Business Administration.

​​​

Jolie Vang from Stockton, CA. She received the UHEF Future Scholarship for pursuing a major in Human Biology.

​​​

Mia Chambers from Merced, CA. She received the UHEF Future Scholarship for pursuing a major in Psychology.

Whether it be via Online Application, Email. Physical Mail, we'll do our best to make sure the application process is easier for our Applicants and aspiring learners of the Future!

UHEF Zong Cheng Hawj Scholarship:

- Designed for Graduating Seniors in High School

- Several students may be selected for this Scholarship Award, ranging from $500 to $2000 per Award!

​

UHEF Future Scholarship: 

- Designed before for Graduating High School Seniors, we have now decided to open the application up to those currently enrolled in a Post-Secondary Institution and pursuing a Bachelor's or Undergrad Degree

- Several Scholarship Awards are available to applicants, in the range of $1,000 to $3,000 per Award!

NOTE: Scholarship funds will be awarded to the student upon evidence of registration in an accredited higher educational institution and a class schedule submitted for fund disbursement. Scholarship funds might be distributed at the beginning of each school Semester, with 50% of funds for each disbursement.

It’s founders has passionately created The United Hmong Education Foundation to carry out its mission and vision, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world or positively change someone’s life is a little support. We were founded in 2021 and are determined to make an impact in helping others succeed. Our leaders and partners understand and have first hand experience about how much impact a little help can influence an individual’s future. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our belief that everyone deserves a better life through educational growth, providing tools and skills to help succeed in the professional world.

Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them. We evaluate our success in this field by gathering qualitative and quantitative data and using that information to measure shifts and changes from our baseline measurements.
